Cycle Expedition: Leh to Manali

A fully supported expedition in Northern India: You will be riding from the heart of Ladakh, known as “Little Tibet” from lunar landscape across the Himalayas on into the Alpine country of Manali. As part of your acclimatisation you will also have the chance to cycle from the acclaimed highest motorable road in the world! This trip, with accommodation in local teahouses and camping, offers adrenaline seekers a chance to journey one of the most incredible overland trips on two wheels.
Ladakh is situated above the Indus River at 12,000ft and isolated within the Karakoram and Zanskar mountain ranges, which provides some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world.
Ladakh is known as “Little Tibet”, because of its rich culture, tradition, landscape and the people being of Tibetan origin. The monasteries are perched on high cliffs and hilltops overlooking the starkly beautiful landscape.
The 490 km expedition from Ladakh to Manali is one of the ultimate challenges for the mountain bikers. Throughout the tour, we will cross five high mountain passes between 3400m and 5328m.
