Jungle Safari

Safari by elephant backOne of the most popular activities in Nepal is to go in search of the one horned Rhino on an elephant back safari. This is a most majestic way to explore the jungle lands of Nepal, not to mention an experience to cherish! Depending on the length of your extension other safari activities can include river canoe or raft, visiting to elephant & crocodile breeding centres, jungle walks and traditional Tthuru village walk & cultural show. You can choose to spend 2-4 days in either Chitwan or Bardia National Parks.

Mountain Biking

Cyclist at sunsetIf you are a keen cyclist, or wish to see some of Nepal by bike why not extend your trip for 1-3 days to take a biking tour in the Kathmandu Valley. These trips take you through traditional villages riding through beautiful paddy fields and surrounding forests of Kathmandu. Routes can be varied depending on ability, and the tours are inclusive of bike hire & equipment, full board accommodation and guide with mechanical back up.

Tibetan Buddhist Pilgrimage

Mani stones on a prayer wallFor those is search of the something different we offer an insight into the mystical and ancient philosophies & culture of Buddism, you can extend your trip to either go on a pilgrimage Nama Buddha, which is the site at which Lord Buddha is said to have sacrificed himself to a tigeress and then visit the location at Lumbini where he was born in his next carnation (4 days). Alternatively for those looking for quiet contemplation and an experience of monastic life, you can visit and stay at Kopan Monastery, in a beautiful setting perched majestically on a hillside on the outskirts of Kathmandu.

Spa & Yoga Relaxation

Relaxing by the poolOf course, holidays are all about having a good time, and for some of us, that means some pampering. You can enjoy the facilities of our Resort Hotel enjoying the pool, indulging in Spa treatments or relax with yoga sessions in the superb gardens. This resort is located near Shivapuri National Park renowned for it’s birdlife, on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu.
